Shipping is super hard. I think everyone in tech gets that. A shipped product is the culmination of so many different pieces of work, from legal to engineering. All of it needs to be completed, often in parallel as different parts change. So while the deployment itself can seem pretty smooth, everything that goes into it beforehand is hardly ever smooth. It’s a rocky sail across the ocean before the ship pulls into harbour. I think it’s important to appreciate that and also the people who make sure everything does get done.
