{"id":476,"date":"2018-10-10T08:21:18","date_gmt":"2018-10-10T06:21:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jongore.com\/blog\/?p=476"},"modified":"2018-10-10T08:46:14","modified_gmt":"2018-10-10T06:46:14","slug":"startup-wars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jongore.com\/blog\/startup\/startup-wars\/","title":{"rendered":"StartUp Ride Wars"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Taxify, the Estonian competitor to Uber, is making a big push in Africa.\u00a0 While Uber was here first, and aggressively pushed into multiple countries in Africa, their first mover advantage is being eroded quickly by Taxify.\u00a0 This is partly due to the lack of moat for a ride-hailing business like Uber.\u00a0 There&#8217;s no real differentiator that Uber provides that another ride-hailing app could not provide.
